Description Shruti Sampat 2013-12-18 13:08:20 UTC
Description of problem:
-------------------------

When glusterd is stopped in a node that is participating in remove-brick on a volume, the remove-brick icon on the UI is replaced with a '?' icon, and clicking on status button in the drop-down menu shows a dialog with zero rows in the status table, as the node that was participating in remove-brick does not have glusterd running.

Instead of showing the empty table, clicking on the status button should display that status information cannot be fetched.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Red Hat Storage Console Version: 2.1.2-0.27.beta.el6_5

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start remove-brick on a distributed volume with 2 brick, one on each server in a 2-node cluster.
2. Kill glusterd on the node which contains the brick being removed.
3. The remove-brick icon is replaced with '?', click on status button.

Actual results:
The status dialog is shown with 0 rows.

Expected results:
Show the user that it is not possible to display status information at this point as it cannot be fetched.
