Trying to play with smartcard and associated technology, I stumbled on opencrypto. After searching for a while, i found that the swtoken do not work unless there is a few directory created : We need a /var/lib/opencryptoki/swtok ( with proper permission for the group pkcs11 ), and /var/lock/opencryptoki/swtok The same likely apply for tpm subdirectory. Could they be created as part of the rpm, so users do not have to look after, especially since the error message are not that obvious.
And that's the same for tpm, I need to have /var/lib/opencryptoki/tpm/ being created.
Michael, do you see bug #1013017 as the non-obvious error message?
To be honest, it could be that, but it was before christmas so lots of stuff happened and I forgot the details. Sorry for not being more detailed on the reproducer, let me try to get again a more detailed view on how to reproduce and how to test.
