Description of problem: gr-qtgui component failed to build although dependencies are included to enable it. gnuradio expects a lower version of qwt package. From build log for x64 arch can be extracted -- QWT Version must be >= 5.2 and <= 6.0.2, Found 6.1.0 By the way, Sphinx is not included as a dependency, Python documentation is not bundled. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 3.7.2.1-1.fc20 How reproducible: Always present, build time issue. Steps to Reproduce: N/A Actual results: gr-qtgui component is disabled. Expected results: gr-qtgui be enabled. Additional info: N/A
Thanks for the report.
I have just seen the 3.7.2.1-3 build on the testing repo. gr-qtgui is enabled now, great! Unfortunately Python doc is still not bundled. At build time gnuradio's cmake scripts are looking for sphinx-build binary which is part of 'python-sphinx' instead of 'sphinx' package. Everything else seems ok. Regards
Hhmmm, just found this: http://gnuradio.4.n7.nabble.com/qwt-version-td44399.html Please take a look, Qwt 6.1 could cause some troubles.

The Tom's comment about disabling it is from Oct 28, 2013, but his commit enabling it is from Dec 17, 2013, so at least we are currently following upstream. Personally, I also think it may cause some troubles, let's see. In the worst case we can rebuild it against qwt5.
