Description Summer Long 2014-02-05 19:49:26 EST
Description of problem:
As of RHELOSP5, Foreman will not be included. (And won't be in any-kind-of-near future because of a Ruby incompatibility.)

It will however continue to be included in RHEL6.5, and will be able to provision RHELOSP5.

The ICG will continue to contain the Foreman info (the Foreman version itself won't change), and will now need a provisioning procedure for RHELOSP 7, as well as a good introductory explanation of the version issue.

This bug is being assigned to Scott Radvan, who is now the designated docs specialist for foreman.

Hi Summer,

I am just taking a look at this bug now, and have wrapped my head around the incompatibility issue and how that issue affects RHELSOP5 as a whole.
Just to confirm, now that Foreman has its own guide, it seems like the place for this material would be in that guide rather than the ICG.

What do you think?

Kind regards,

Andrew

Absolutely. This bug was raised back when everything was in the ICG. :)
