Red Hat Bugzilla – Bug 1062793
[Install Guide] 3.2 channel should not be disabled before upgrade
Last modified: 2014-07-27 21:21:23 EDT
Description of problem: In the Installation Guide, section 6.2.3 "Upgrading to RHEV 3.3" step 2, it instructs the user to remove the "rhel-6-server-rhevm-3.2" channel. Removing this channel prior to the upgrade can cause issues with the engine-setup command as well as removing the ability to do a proper rollback if something goes wrong. This step should be moved to the end, but prior to the yum update in step 5. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): Revision 3.3-34 Additional info: https://access.redhat.com/site/documentation/en-US/Red_Hat_Enterprise_Virtualization/3.3/html-single/Installation_Guide/index.html#sect-Upgrading_to_Red_Hat_Enterprise_Virtualization_3.3
