Description zhengqin 2014-02-28 08:17:47 UTC
Description of problem:
1. Additional characters will be added unexpectedly when inputting guest's image path or OS root directory with leading spaces
2. This issue occurs both on RHEL7 and RHEL6

Version-Release number of selected component:
virt-manager-0.10.0-17.el7.noarch

How reproducible:
100%

steps:
1. Start virt-manager, and click "File" -> "Add Connection" to add a local LXC connection.

2. Create a New LXC container with "Operating system container" on "New VM" window, and click "Forward" button.

3. For "Provide the existing OS root directory", input a path with leading spaces, such as: " /var/lib/libvirt/images/", and click "Forward" button util final window.

Actual results:
1. Additional characters will be added unexpectedly for "Storage" path for beginning, such as: "/root" or "/root/Desktop"
2. Could not install vm after click "Finish" button

Expected Results:
1. Invalid path should not be accepted and should not add additional characters

Additional info:
1. This issue also occurs on RHEL6.
2. This issue also occurs for creating normal guest

this error doesn't reproduce upstream (as in happens in the version in RHEL-7), so closing it.
