Same problem here. However, in my installation of Test 3, icons weren't
created for open office in KDE or Gnome.

Comment 2 Thomas Bludau 2003-10-26 19:47:42 UTC
same problem here with gnome, oo.o starts and start then the installation for
the local user and the icons are unter (RedHat -> Office -> Other Office
Products) The Icons are not from the bluecurve theme. I think the OpenOffice RPM
isnt right and there had to be some updates. perhaps when you create a user
there is not a entry for the users in there home direcotry. I've added a new
user and have the same problem under gnome.

perhaps someone can change the Summery to: "No icons for OO in menu in KDE and
Gnome"

My Versions:
openoffice.org-1.1.0-2
openoffice.org-i18n-1.1.0-2

Here is the output when i start oowriter:

do not appear?

Comment 8 Thomas Bludau 2003-10-27 16:37:25 UTC

Comment 9 Thomas Bludau 2003-10-27 17:14:51 UTC
i think its ok.
the icons are under kde and gnome now
at first i've uninstalled all openoffice.org packages and then i've installed
ooffice.org ooffice.org-libs and oofice.org-i18n all in version 1.1.0-3
i added a user and then started gnome
and i added a second user and starded kde at first time the icons where by
everywhere

Comment 10 Dan Williams 2003-10-27 17:53:23 UTC
I just checked it too and the Icons show up where they need to with 1.1.0-3.
Closing as fixed.
