With a cursory look at this bug, I cannot see how it is different from the other bug you handled on the reboot option. If the content discussed in the attached links is covered by your other bug, feel free to close this one.

This bug appears to relate to the backend element of the single-click reboot feature. There is some detail in the oVirt features link above about what has been done. Without much knowledge of the backend, I can't really say whether anything needs to be added to the docs, although I can see that there is maybe room to include it in the Technical Guide after 'Shutdown Virtual Machine Action'.

Unfortunately, there is not enough detail in the link for someone with my technical experience (inexperience) to write an accurate guide to using this feature.

Hi Lucy,

I believe this bug will involve documenting the implementation of the reboot feature in the REST API.

Let's schedule some time to investigate this next week and see what kind of elements have been added.

Andrew

Reboot feature appears in REST API.

Updated XML Representation of a Virtual Machine in Technical Guide to include reboot feature.

Added topic, Reboot Virtual Machine Action, to Technical Guide.
