This is a request for enhancement. The 3.3 REST api for snapshots provides the ovf descriptor data associated with the snapshots for all snapshots EXCEPT the Active VM.

This request is to enhance the API to include the OVF data for the Active VM as well.

Hey Laura, thanks for that. 

1 & 2) a bit off-topic for this particular bug but they're easy fixes so I haven't bothered opening a new bug for it.
3) we don't include action types in an element table. An example of this action is found at 'Example 30.33. Restoring a Virtual Machine Snapshot'.
4) the 'id=""' needs to be left blank for the request to work.

Re: use of figure tags instead of screen tags
I can see how that would be useful but not necessarily for the output of API. I'm also concerned about the additional space that it consumes - with 300+ such instances in the API section of the Guide, this would make a significant difference. But thank you for the suggestion.


As there were no concerns from QA with the content of this particular bug, I'm going to move this bug to 'Verified'. We've since moved to a new workflow regarding BZ QA so I'll take care of the updates to the revision history and publication spec.
