Failing to log in to RHEVM used to tell you to change your password in the directory service provider that provided user accounts in your RHEV environment. This was a problem for users (as distinguished from administrators) using RHEV setups wherein they did not know about the existence of the directory service provider they were using. Things have changed in 3.4. Now, when you fail to log in correctly, you are sent to a URL to change your password: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=739431
After some searching and reading (https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1053601), my understanding of this fix is that administrators are now able to customise the message that users see when their login fails due to an expired password (rather than a generic and unhelpful message about the fact that the password has expired). I have therefore updated the section of the Admin Guide that deals with the syntax for the Domain Management Tool (engine-manage-domains) to include the option -changePasswordMsg.
