Description of problem: Suppose the following Python: c1 = libcomps.Comps() c1.fromxml_f('comps.xml') pkgs = [pkg for pkg in c1.groups[0].packages] s = set(pkgs) This raises: TypeError: unhashable type: 'libcomps.Package' I think the package type should have tp_hash defined. Remember: it needs to comply with the __hash__ condition, i.e. "objects which compare equal have the same hash value".
