Don, the info is in the referenced article. Just needs to be streamlined for the Install Guide...but I won't be here. many thanks, Summer

Don, I've created 30828, 'Sahara Service' for https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1094485

I didn't update the graphic, it's getting too complicated. Deepti put in trove because I thought it would be the only one and then they decided that Sahara would be in after all. For Juno, believe Trove should be removed and only the 9 core components should remain. We'll then add Trove and Sahara component architecture diagrams to their respective sections.

The intro blurb would be this:
Sahara enables the fast provision and easy management of Hadoop clusters on OpenStack. See section <link>OpenStack Sahara Service</link>.

The chapter structure is this:
Chapter: OpenStack Sahara Service
Sahara Service - topic 30828 - overview info
  Sahara Service Requirements -new topic
Install the Sahara Service -new topic
Create the Sahara Database -new topic
  Configure Sahara -new topic

If you're overwhelmed, let me know and I'll work through it this week while I'm at Summit.

Don, when you're done, please get QE to review as a whole (30828 included).
Comment 4 Don Domingo 2014-05-19 00:17:52 EDT
Done. To be included in QE build:

  Chapter: OpenStack Sahara Installation
Install the OpenStack Sahara Service Packages [31251]
Configure the OpenStack Sahara Database Connection [31252]
Install the OpenStack Sahara User Interface [31250]
    Configure OpenStack Sahara Authentication [31253]
Configure the Firewall to Allow OpenStack Sahara Service Traffic [31262]
Configure and Launch the OpenStack Sahara Service [31254]

Sean, could you do the tech review for this? The original info is yours, just need to ensure nothing is missing before we pass to QE. thanks, Summer
