Prerequisites 
Rhel 7 with  following rpm 
subscription-manager-firstboot-1.11.1-1.git.28.bbfac4a.el7.x86_64
subscription-manager-gui-1.11.1-1.git.28.bbfac4a.el7.x86_64
subscription-manager-1.11.1-1.git.28.bbfac4a.el7.x86_64
subscription-manager-migration-1.11.1-1.git.28.bbfac4a.el7.x86_64
subscription-manager-migration-data-2.0.7-1.git.0.4fc617f.el7.noarch

server : 
subscription management server: 1.5.0-19.el6sat-Katello

Steps to Repro : 
Create a New user”testuser1” from sat6 gui  and (attached screenshot newuser)
Login to client console and register client using user “testuser1” with valid password 

Expected result : 


Actual Result : 

[root@dhcp201-104 sm]# subscription-manager register
Username: testuser1
Password:
