Description of problem: The current version of fxload shipped by Fedora 20 is 2002_04_11, which is too old to support the Cypress EZ-USB FX2LP parts (which differ from the EZ-USB FX2 parts by having 16kb RAM). Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 2002_04_11 How reproducible: Plug in a USB device which utilizes an EZ-USB FX2LP part and attempt to upload a firmware image larger than 8kb. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Plug-in an EZ-USB FX2LP part 2. Run fxload -t fx2 -I <path/to/firmware.hex> -D <path/to/device/node> Actual results: Notice how the fxload command fails due to not being able to upload more than 8kb Expected results: The newer version of fxload (fxload to 2008_10_13, available from http://sourceforge.net/projects/linux-hotplug/files/fxload/) support the '-t fx2lp' parameter, which allows uploading up to 16kb firmware.
