1. One line summary of the problem: Kernel freezes when doing ADSL communication 2. Full description of the problem/report: While doing communication through my ADSL modem connected to ethernet, the kernel suddenly ejects error messages in /var/log/messages. I can usually go on working for another minute or so, and after that everything freezes or start to behave very strangely. It seems to be related only to some communication programs, e.g. gaim and mplayer seem to trigger the problem, whereas other, e.g. ssh, can work for hours without a problem. Thanks for the bug report. However, Red Hat no longer maintains this version of the product. Please upgrade to the latest version and open a new bug if the problem persists.
