Description Kedar Bidarkar 2014-06-18 12:23:11 UTC
Description of problem:

Currently the "Network Type" dropdown displays both, "Physical (bridge)" and virtual bridge "foreman".

I think the dropdown should display "Physical (bridge)" option only when the Bridging is configured on the sat6box/capsule.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

How reproducible:

Steps to Reproduce:
1. configure libvirt provisioning
2. move to the virtual machine tab and select the "Network type" dropdown
3.

Actual results:
Currently the dropdown for "NEtwork type" displays "Physical (bridge)" configured or not.

Expected results:
Dropdown for "Network type" should not display "Physical (bridge)" unless the sat6box/capsule is configured with bridging.

Additional info:

Also, I think we should not be showing "Physical(bridge)" option unless the sat6box or capsule is also handling the dhcp for the subnet itself . Me not 100% sure but looks like even this check should exist.

Since this issue was entered in Red Hat Bugzilla, the release flag has been
set to ? to ensure that it is properly evaluated for this release.

This is an older bug which I do not envision being addressed in the near term. I am closing this out. If you believe doing so is an issue, please feel free to re-open and provide additional business information. Thank you.
