Description of problem: On a period of non-use, the laptop screen is blanking (correctly), when the mouse is moved to "wake" the machine, about 50% of the time the login screen is presented (correct!) the rest of the time the previous screen image returns (no time out), the mouse pointer is movable but the machine will not respond. Clicking on any open app does not return control, the machine acts as though frozen. The only way to carry on is to power down. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): Cinnamon 2.2. Fedora 20 (Heisenbug) How reproducible: 50% of the time Steps to Reproduce: 1.Leave desktop inactive for 10+ minutes 2.Return to desktop and try to activate 3. Actual results: As above Expected results: As above Additional info: Using wireless mouse also.
