Description of problem: I'm actually in EPEL6, but using a rebuild of the ganglia 3.6 packaging. The libnodeupdown ganglia backend fails (shows everything down) because the ganglia output changed at some stage. The fix I submitted for it is http://sourceforge.net/p/whatsup/code/968/tree//trunk/src/libnodeupdown/nodeupdown_backend_ganglia.c?diff=50c0dc935fcbc92b9bac8f9d:967 It copes with old or new ganglia format. There's an EPEL6 build with that patch at http://copr.fedoraproject.org/coprs/loveshack/livhpc/build/21290 tested against ganglia 3.6.0. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 1.14-1
Dave, I'm building a new version of whatsup as I type with your patch. http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=7117731 Please checkout the resulting RPMs and let me know before I push all the way through to EL6. Thanks, - David Brown
I rebuilt the rawhide rpm on EL6 and it works OK against ganglia 3.6. I can't test it otherwise, but the patch was tested against both formats originally.
