Description of problem:
When HotPluging an ide disk it is add in a deactivated state and the "activate" option button is greyed out.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
alpha2

How reproducible:
100%

Steps to Reproduce:
1.HotPlug an ide disk


Actual results:
The disk is added to the vm in deactivated state and the "activate" option button is greyed out,hence,compels the user to shut-down the vm in order to activate the disk.

Expected results:
HotPluging an ide disk should be supported or not be aloud with a proper error

Daniel, AFAIK this was intentional.

Right. As mentioned in kvm documentation [1]: "IDE is not hotpluggable".
