RHEL Engineering is moving the tracking of its product development work on RHEL 6 through RHEL 9 to Red Hat Jira (issues.redhat.com). If you're a Red Hat customer, please continue to file support cases via the Red Hat customer portal. If you're not, please head to the "RHEL project" in Red Hat Jira and file new tickets here. Individual Bugzilla bugs in the statuses "NEW", "ASSIGNED", and "POST" are being migrated throughout September 2023. Bugs of Red Hat partners with an assigned Engineering Partner Manager (EPM) are migrated in late September as per pre-agreed dates. Bugs against components "kernel", "kernel-rt", and "kpatch" are only migrated if still in "NEW" or "ASSIGNED". If you cannot log in to RH Jira, please consult article #7032570. That failing, please send an e-mail to the RH Jira admins at rh-issues@redhat.com to troubleshoot your issue as a user management inquiry. The email creates a ServiceNow ticket with Red Hat. Individual Bugzilla bugs that are migrated will be moved to status "CLOSED", resolution "MIGRATED", and set with "MigratedToJIRA" in "Keywords". The link to the successor Jira issue will be found under "Links", have a little "two-footprint" icon next to it, and direct you to the "RHEL project" in Red Hat Jira (issue links are of type "https://issues.redhat.com/browse/RHEL-XXXX", where "X" is a digit). This same link will be available in a blue banner at the top of the page informing you that that bug has been migrated.

Description of problem:
when the contacts are in well-formed form (contact1 <email1@domain>, "contact2" <email2@domain>, ), it would be cool if the contacts could be reordered or shuffled between fields by drag'n'drop.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
evolution-3.8.5-22.el7_0.1.1.x86_64

How reproducible:
always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. add some contacts to To and CC fields in the composer
2. reorder the contacts using drag and drop
3.

Actual results:
dnd doesn't work

Expected results:
dnd should work

Thanks for a bug report. It would be better to accomplish this upstream first and only then get it to RHEL, either as some kind of backport or within any rebase. Could you find/fill an upstream bug report, link it with this bug report here and close this, please?

Comment 2 Milan Crha 2015-06-02 16:32:54 UTC
See comment #1, let's have this fixed upstream first [1].

Comment 3 Milan Crha 2016-01-14 16:55:50 UTC
This is similar to bug #1288088. I'm just making a reference to it here, otherwise I'm not going to do anything on this. There are more important bugs to be addressed.

Comment 4 Milan Crha 2018-06-05 12:08:09 UTC
I'm closing this in favour of the upstream this. The change, once done upstream, will get into RHEL as soon as it'll be updated with such version.
