Red Hat Bugzilla 1017256 0 unspecified CLOSED Incorrectly calculated transaction statistics when recovery proceeds 2021-02-22 00:41:40 UTC

Description Ondrej Chaloupka 2014-09-05 07:52:53 UTC
Currently transaction statistics are displayed as percents. But this is not correct projection of transaction statistic. Because of it the numbers could go over 100% what is nonsense.

There is extensive discussion on this at bz#1017256.

Please, fix this by showing just number - like number of processed transactions, number of commited transactions etc.

Please, add comment/hint to user with information that sum of committed and aborted transaction could not be equal in case that server was started after crash and there was some transactions finished by recovery. Statistics are saved just in memory and they are cleand after restart. That means that recovery could finished already started transaction that was counted when server was started before crash.
