Description of problem:

gedit crashes if you open a directory

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

gedit-2.4.0-5

How reproducible:

Every time!

Steps to Reproduce:
1. gedit $HOME
2. "/home/notting" is a directory.

Please, check that you typed the location correctly and try again.
3.  Application "gedit" (process 2888) has crashed
due to a fatal error.
(Segmentation fault)

Appears fixed in current version.
