Title: Introduction to Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization Hosts http://documentation-devel.engineering.redhat.com/site/documentation/en-US/Red_Hat_Enterprise_Virtualization/3.5-Beta/html-single/Administration_Guide/index.html#Red_Hat_Enterprise_Virtualization_hosts There are many instances throughout the guides where RHEL host versions are mentioned. Some of these references are outdated/inconsistent. The section above is cited as an example. These references need to be either updated to reflect the correct required host version for 3.5 (check with support), generalized to indicate a release stream (e.g. 6), or removed. The assignee may decide to restrict the mention of RHEL host versions to a single 'requirements' or 'introduction' topic to make this content easier to update for future releases. (The Host Compatibility Matrix section is covered in bug 1097006.)
- Checked throughout the Install guide for outdated RHEL versions.
-checked throughout the Admin Guide to 19.3.3. Changing the Password for the Internal Administrative User.
Reviewed for docs QE. All instances where host versions of RHEL are mentioned have been updated to consistently refer to versions 6.5 and 7.0 as supported. I have also checked the other guides, and found no errant versions. Additionally, I have checked all of the guides for lists where every data center/cluster compatibility level is listed (e.g. Choose your version from the list), and the only instances of this have been updated with 3.5 by Julie in this bug. VERIFIED.
