most tests with hplj5l, but also the hp2250 did not print the logo even its configured with the PostScript driver
I noticed the same problem attempting to print to an HP LJ 4200 and a color LJ 4500. I found a work-around for postscript printers. Some of the foomatic + postscript drivers (e.g., the Laserjet 4200) have the Ghost-script pre-filtering option. In kcontrol ==> Printers, selecting "convert to PS level 2" solved to problem for me. Although this was done on RH 9 (cups-1.1.17) and FC1 (cups-1.1.19), it probably works with RHE 3 as well.
