with LogLevel debug2 I found that the job is aborted at the second
%%Trailer in the embeded epsi file. Even the missing
%%BeginDocument/%%EndDocument clause does not fix the problem

Please attach the output of 'printconf-tui --Xexport', making sure to
replace any passwords with asterisks. Thanks.

Comment 5 Tim Waugh 2004-02-17 12:32:58 UTC
Thanks. Which of the three queues are you printing to?

Comment 6 Dr. Gabriella Schmidt 2004-02-17 16:33:45 UTC
most tests with hplj5l, but also the hp2250 did not print the logo
even its configured with the PostScript driver

Comment 7 Rudi Nunlist 2004-08-26 06:22:49 UTC
I noticed the same problem attempting to print to an HP LJ 4200 and a color LJ 4500.
I found a work-around for postscript printers. Some of the foomatic + postscript drivers (e.g., the
Laserjet 4200) have the Ghost-script pre-filtering option. In kcontrol ==> Printers, selecting
"convert to PS level 2" solved to problem for me.
Although this was done on RH 9 (cups-1.1.17) and FC1 (cups-1.1.19), it probably works with RHE
3 as well.
