Description Medic Momcilo 2014-11-12 00:19:48 UTC
Description of problem:

Applications that have tray icon in Gnome require really specific clicking to activate.
It seems that we are able to click outside of icon and inside the square reserved for icon.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
gnome-shell-3.14.1.5-1.fc21.x86_64

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start application that has tray icon
2. Open Gnome bottom bar
3. Try to click on actual icon

Actual results:
You can see that icon is not highlighted unless you approach borders

Expected results:
You are able to highlight icon

Additional info:
Tried with Hexchat, VLC, Skype
