Description of problem: When using the GSS-Proxy with mod_auth_kerb based on https://fedorahosted.org/gss-proxy/wiki/Apache on Fedora 21, I get Internal Server Error. I also get AVC denial type=AVC msg=audit(1417690943.120:572): avc: denied { create } for pid=32439 comm="gssproxy" name="HTTP_0" scontext=system_u:system_r:gssproxy_t:s0 tcontext=system_u:object_r:tmp_t:s0 tclass=file permissive=0 and it seems to be the problem -- after switching to Permissive, things start to work. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): httpd-2.4.10-9.fc21.x86_64 mod_auth_kerb-5.4-30.fc21.x86_64 gssproxy-0.3.1-4.fc21.x86_64 How reproducible: Deterministic. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Configure httpd with mod_auth_kerb to use GSS-Proxy, based on https://fedorahosted.org/gss-proxy/wiki/Apache 2. Run curl --negotiate -u : http://<the-httpd-server>/private Actual results: <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//IETF//DTD HTML 2.0//EN"> <html><head> <title>500 Internal Server Error</title> </head><body> [...] and the error_log on the server says [auth_kerb:error] [pid 10422] [client 10.16.96.136:60242] gss_acquire_cred() failed: Unspecified GSS failure. Minor code may provide more information (, Permission denied) Expected results: OK Additional info: This is based on the report in bug 1047776 comment 11. It is a regression against Fedora 20 where the AVC denial was there as well but the file /var/tmp/HTTP_0 got created even in Enforcing and authentication worked. This looks related to bug 1008777 which tracks the AVC denial which on RHEL 7 and Fedora 20 do not prevent the authentication. Things have regressed in Fedora 21.

This message is a reminder that Fedora 21 is nearing its end of life. Approximately 4 (four) weeks from now Fedora will stop maintaining and issuing updates for Fedora 21. It is Fedora's policy to close all bug reports from releases that are no longer maintained. At that time this bug will be closed as EOL if it remains open with a Fedora 'version' of '21'. Package Maintainer: If you wish for this bug to remain open because you plan to fix it in a currently maintained version, simply change the 'version' to a later Fedora version. Thank you for reporting this issue and we are sorry that we were not able to fix it before Fedora 21 is end of life. If you would still like to see this bug fixed and are able to reproduce it against a later version of Fedora, you are encouraged change the 'version' to a later Fedora version prior this bug is closed as described in the policy above. Although we aim to fix as many bugs as possible during every release's lifetime, sometimes those efforts are overtaken by events. Often a more recent Fedora release includes newer upstream software that fixes bugs or makes them obsolete.
Fedora 21 changed to end-of-life (EOL) status on 2015-12-01. Fedora 21 is no longer maintained, which means that it will not receive any further security or bug fix updates. As a result we are closing this bug. If you can reproduce this bug against a currently maintained version of Fedora please feel free to reopen this bug against that version. If you are unable to reopen this bug, please file a new report against the current release. If you experience problems, please add a comment to this bug. Thank you for reporting this bug and we are sorry it could not be fixed.
