SLiM appears to have unneeded dependencies in the form of xterm and xorg-x11-apps. These should be removed from the spec files and the rpm rebuilt. 

This holds for F20 and F21 and rawhide also.

Look at conf file. It mentioned. So, untill rpm does not allow soft dependencies it should be there.
