Created attachment 975980 [details] Rules to add kernel timers audio group. Is there a reason why the file 40-hpet-permissions.rules is never installed with fedora's jack / jack2 packages? Other distros like arch linux install this file as standard in /usr/lib/udev/rules.d The file includes rules for adding the high precision timers to the audio group. (Should this be the jackuser group in fedora?)
I'm not against adding a file this to jack. Anyone else?
