Description of problem:

On a VIA C3 866 system (Via Apollo 133 Chipset)

service httpd start fails

php-4.3.4-10.1.i386.rpm -> /usr/bin/php --help <enter> -> "illegal
instruction"

rpmbuild --rebuild --target=i586 php-4.3.4-10.1.src.rpm ends with

/usr/src/redhat/BUILD/php-4.3.4/ext/exif/exif.c: In function
`exif_process_IFD_in_MAKERNOTE':
/usr/src/redhat/BUILD/php-4.3.4/ext/exif/exif.c:2680: internal
compiler error: Segmentation fault

try running memtest86 on the box, otherwise report a kernel bug if you
are sure the hardware is really OK.
