Description of problem: scandvb installed from package dvb-apps can't read scan tables installed from dtv-scan-tables, which is installed as dependency. Need to install dtv-scan-tables-legacy. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): dvb-apps-1.1.2-8.1488.f3a70b206f0f.fc21.x86_64 dtv-scan-tables-legacy-1-2.20140905git4aad313.fc21.noarch dtv-scan-tables-1-2.20140905git4aad313.fc21.noarch How reproducible: yum install dvb-apps scandvb /usr/share/dvbv5/dvb-c/fi-dna Actual results: ERROR: cannot parse'[CHANNEL] ' ERROR: cannot parse' DELIVERY_SYSTEM = DVBC/ANNEX_A .... Expected results: dvb scans channels. Additional info: dvb-apps should include dtv-scan-tables-legacy as depedency.
The same problem happens on Fedora 22.
Thirding. Need to install the -tables-legacy and to scandvb using the dvbv3 directory instead of the dvbv5 directory. Arguably though, shouldn't the scandvb command support the new format?
