Description of problem: Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): LVM2 How reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Setup fresh fedora 21 with encrypted lvm. 2. Update Fedora using yum update -y 3. Try to boot into the newest kernel installed by these updates. Actual results: Newes kernerl, that is 3.18.8-200 and 3,18.8s201 ask me to retype the encrypted lvm passphrase. They do not either accept it or not even give message that passphrase is wrong. Just asks to retype. Expected results: Passphrase of encrypted lvm should work on all kernels. If its correct accept and procced if its wrong then give such message. Additional info: N/A
Might the keyboard mapping have changed: Are there any unusual characters in the passphrase that might be getting mistyped now?
