Description Federico Lucifredi 2015-02-11 23:40:07 UTC
Description of problem:

The installation instructions for ICE 1.2.2 do not indicate whether a 32b or 64b platform is expected. Easy to guess 64 in context, but if the OS itself still ships 32b images, our product needs to specify as well.

Resolution: Document what bit width kernels are expected on the underlying OS where the option exists with the OS vendor.

Comment 3 John Wilkins 2015-02-27 22:05:53 UTC
Docs will be under a "Red Hat Ceph Storage" section, so I shortened the title to Installation Guide and mentioned RHEL and x86_64 in the title. It is also mentioned in the second paragraph of the introduction. Further, it is mentioned in the Operating System section.

Verified that cpu bit width of x86_64 has been mentioned in the document..
