Description of problem: Please build latest lua-socket package for EPEL 7. Just rebuilding the lua-socket-3.0-0.8rc1.fc22 package with changed luaver seems to be sufficient. The lua-socket package is a dependency for my prosody package. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): lua-socket-3.0-0.8rc1.fc22 Actual results: No lua-socket in EPEL 7. Expected results: lua-socket-3.0-0.8rc1.el7 or better ;-) Additional info: Please let me know if you are not interested in maintaining the package.
Tim, would you please comment at least on this bug report and state if you are interested in EPEL 7 or not?
Given that Tim did not respond the last two months and I need this package for prosody, I am just going to maintain it myself now. If the maintainer is claiming back this branch at a later time, I am happy to reassign ownership.
