Hi, Thanks for the bug report. Yes we're aware that 2fg scrolling is too fast currently and we're are working on fixing this. We will get back to you when we've some code to test for this. Regards, Hans
xorg-x11-drv-libinput-0.7.0-5.fc22 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 22. https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/xorg-x11-drv-libinput-0.7.0-5.fc22
This surely helps, but the scroll speed is still too fast in my opinion and also comparing to Fedora 21.
Package xorg-x11-drv-libinput-0.7.0-5.fc22: * should fix your issue, * was pushed to the Fedora 22 testing repository, * should be available at your local mirror within two days. Update it with: # su -c 'yum update --enablerepo=updates-testing xorg-x11-drv-libinput-0.7.0-5.fc22' as soon as you are able to. Please go to the following url: https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2015-3291/xorg-x11-drv-libinput-0.7.0-5.fc22 then log in and leave karma (feedback).
Perhaps this should be a separate bug (let me know). I tried F22-A3. Scroll speed was way to slow and I was not able to make it fast enough via GUI settings. Worse, xset m 4 0, which I normally use, was ignored (I assume because of libinput). This is on a Thinkpad X200 with trackpoint only. I would not be able to use F22 if I could not get decent mouse speed.
rasmus: please file a different bug so we can track it accordingly. the trackstick scroll handling is handled differently
