Description Matej Lazar 2015-03-16 13:19:38 EDT
As a instance creator I want to be able to assign a user group as instance owner.

I find this functionality useful to allow other members of the same group to control the instance when its creator is not reachable.

This is a huge feature request that needs to be filed upstream, but upstream discussions have indicated that the approach is not going to be made.

The Group abstraction from Keystone is not shared with other projects. Thus, Nova does not have a means to act on the information.

If this is truely required, please file it as an upstream RFE in Nova, and reopen this report.
