Comment 1 Tim Waugh 2015-03-26 09:12:34 UTC
Just to confirm, this was still working in kernel-4.0.0-0.rc3.git0.1.fc22.x86_64.

Comment 2 Josh Boyer 2015-03-26 12:28:30 UTC
There were a number of i915 bugs in rc4 that seem to manifest themselves like this. I'll be building a kernel today that contains 4 patches to fix those bugs. It would be nice if you could test that out.

Comment 3 Josh Boyer 2015-03-26 13:27:18 UTC
http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=623735 is the build in question. When it completes, if you could test it and let me know how things work that would be nice.

Make sure to update the rest of the system before you install the kernel packages, to get any userspace fixes that may be causing hangs.

Comment 4 Tim Waugh 2015-03-26 23:43:38 UTC
kernel-4.0.0-0.rc5.git3.1.fc22.x86_64 fixes the problem for me.
