Section "⁠10.7.4. Extending the Size of an Online Virtual Disk" in the Administration Guide outlines how to resize (grow) a virtual disk. However, resizing a virtual disk only increases the amount of available storage space, and does not resize the size of the partitions or filesystems on that virtual disk at the same time.

To help clarify this, a quick note must be added to the above section informing users that when they have resized the disk, they must resize the underlying partitions and filesystems as required.
