Further information on adding storage domains to a RHEV environment is required. Specifically - * How many data domains of each type can you add to a cluster or data center? - Data - many? - Export - one? - ISO - one? * Merging or renaming the initial_text section and 'Understanding Storage Domains' sections so that the concepts they cover are clear and distinct. For example, 'Understanding Storage Domains' seems similar to the overview currently added as initial_text, but talks about the difference between file and object storage. Is this even needed as a separate section, or can it be combined with the overview? Can the paragraphs on the different storage domain types be split into its own section? * Is the important box in the initial text section about non-NFS export storage domains being deprecated? Can it be removed, or a note that export storage domains can only be on NFS be added as a standard sentence to the paragraph on export storage domains? * Is the second important box, on needing a host to be up, the best place for this information? Can the second sentence simply be added to the opening paragraph for the section?

I think this is covered by "Data domains of multiple types (iSCSI, NFS, FC, POSIX, and Gluster) can be added to the same data center, provided they are all shared, rather than local, domains." > - Export - one? > - ISO - one? Tested this on my setup. The options for ISO and Export disappear from the New Domain window after you've added each of them once. Added a line about each. > > * Merging or renaming the initial_text section and 'Understanding Storage > Domains' sections so that the concepts they cover are clear and distinct. > For example, 'Understanding Storage Domains' seems similar to the overview > currently added as initial_text, but talks about the difference between file > and object storage. Moved the storage domain types to Understanding Storage Domains. Initial text is now just more general info. > > * Is the important box in the initial text section about non-NFS export > storage domains being deprecated? This was also already done. http://docbuilder.usersys.redhat.com/22765/#chap-Storage Introduction to Storage in Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization [8671-765642] Moved the storage domain types to topic 7919 Understanding Storage Domains [7919-765643] Added storage domain types from topic 8671, added notes stating that only one ISO/export domain can be added
