In kate-4.x addons/CMakeLists.txt: > # KTextEditor plugins, for the kate part > add_subdirectory (ktexteditor) IOW the addons/ktexteditor plugins are usable from katepart. This can be seen in the Extensions tab of the katepart config dialog, e.g. in Konqueror (which is still KDE4-based), View->Embedded Advanced Text Editor followed by Settings->Configure Editor...; in F21 (with kate installed) there will be six extensions available, but in F22 there would be none. Therefore, these plugins should be part of kate4-part (kate-part in F21) instead of being part of kate.
Created attachment 1031509 [details] Patch for rawhide This can also be merged into f22. Successful scratch build: http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=9872140
Created attachment 1031510 [details] Patch for kate f21 The same applies to kate 4.x in Fedora 21 (and earlier), although it is less noticable due to the likely presence of kate itself. Successful scratch build: http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=9872203
Thanks, I'll take a look
