Created attachment 1032321 [details] when using pavumeter : Headphone are shown as unplugged. Description of problem: Fedora won't automatically detect headphone. Even when headphone is plugged, sound still comes through speaker. This problem also existed with Fedora 21. (It started after some update, I can't confirm the update after which it started. Because initially I believed it was a hardware issue.) Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): pulseaudio-6.0-2.fc22.x86_64 How reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3. Actual results: No sound through headphone, only through speaker. Expected results: Sound through headphones, not through speaker. Additional info: When Headphone were selected using pavumeter (Which displays headphones as unplugged). Only Left side is working and It was confirmed that both (L & R) are working using other devices. Also it was made sure that headphone was injected properly.

I've followed earlier reported bug : https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1161883 But this was for an old version.
I go to program: pavucontrol (/usr/bin/pavucontrol), go to tab : output devices and change port to Speakers (unavailable) and works all the time
(In reply to Sergio Monteiro Basto from comment #5) > I go to program: pavucontrol (/usr/bin/pavucontrol), go to tab : output > devices and change port to Speakers (unavailable) and works all the time Suddenly, with kernel 4.3.3-301.fc23.x86_64 , I got headphones working correctly . JFTR, On first boot with 4.3.3-301.fc23.x86_64 , I didn't have any sound , pavucontrol didn't find any output device . I reboot my laptop, Latitude E6410 , and in next boot starts works correctly, sound through headphone after plug headphones, no need more pavucontrol tricks.
