Please let me know if you need access to my appliance where this issue has been reproduced.The log files are huge,but I will share the log files.
Default retries for host provisioning is 100 retires with 1 min delays in between so without seeing the logs it sounds like maybe the host is not contacting the appliance to continue post-provisioning.
Hi Nandini, All that I see in the logs is a timeout while waiting for the automate task to finish. Did the bare-metal host finish installing? I see the reboot of the host, but it never called back.
Yes,the bare-metal host did finish installing.The install took ~ 20 mins.
Nandini, Did the host attempt to call back to CFME after the install finished? I don't see the callback anywhere in the log.
I don't have log files from the host at the moment.I'll try to upload the log files early next week.

No, bug 1229426 is a different issue.
This BZ has been closed since it was opened on a version of CloudForms that has reached the end of its lifecycle. If you find that this bug is still relevant, please open a new BZ against the relevant supported version of CloudForms.
