Thank you, as an aside if it helps this seems to be happening a bit, but seems to be only when I'm plugged into a monitor (on a laptop).
In my case, I don't use a laptop but two screens. Is there anything how I can assist in getting this issue resolved?
Bug #1231591 is quite similar, there's also a test message which can reproduce the crash.

Maybe can help (or not...): I also use a laptop with odcking station and 2 monitors connected. Unfortunately removing laptop from docking station, rebooting and using the integrated screen makes no difference. I can't select mail from imap account (gmail), that makes Evolution crash. EWS accounts work without issues. I also experience a strange behavior of desktop icons just after startup: if you think that it may be related or can help I will be glad to explain.
The problem is solved for me. It was a problem with Fedora mailing which i receive on the iamp account. Figured out that the account type or something video related was not the problem, an Evolution update about "mailing lists problem" solved that. Thanks
