Created attachment 1044547 [details] strace of mscore Description of problem: Updated mscore to version 2.0.1-2 from updates-testing. If starting this mscore, it dies immediately (starting via commandline or clicking on an mscore score file - same result). mscore-2.0.0-3.fc22.x86_64 runs properly. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 2.0.1-2.fc22 How reproducible: each time Steps to Reproduce: 1.update to version 2.0.1-2 2.start mscore 3. Actual results: no output Expected results: mscore proceeds and opens window Additional info:
Forgot to tell that mscore-doc and mscore-fonts were updated too!
Looks like the fonts are looked for in the wrong place. Will rebuild and resubmit
This seems to affect also mscore-2.0.1-2.fc23.x86_64 on Rawhide.
Same problem with mscore-2.0.1-5.fc23.x86_64: It dies at startup with +++ killed by SIGSEGV (core dumped) ++ Using strace: stat("/usr/share/mscore/fonts/fonts_tablature.xml", 0x7ffee8513940) = -1 ENOENT (No such file or directory) --- SIGSEGV {si_signo=SIGSEGV, si_code=SEGV_MAPERR, si_addr=0x4040012} --- +++ killed by SIGSEGV (core dumped) +++ It seems: Unscessful search for onts_tablature.xml Using the workaround: 1. mkdir /usr/share/mscore 2. ln -s /usr/share/fonts/mscore /usr/share/mscore/fonts will solve the problem!!
