I wanted to notify about dependency issue. I grabbed python-anymarkup from koji to test dependencies on epel7. package: python-anymarkup-0.4.3-1.el7.noarch from local7-64 unresolved deps: pytest >= 0:2.4.0 Unfortunately rhel7 only has pytest-2.3.5-4.el7 so this hard dependency makes package not installable. If 2.4.0 is absolutely required we have a problem...
Package pytest is not required at all. As python-anymarkup does not ship tests, pytest dependency is needless.
python-anymarkup-0.4.3-2.el7 has been submitted as an update for Fedora EPEL 7. https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/python-anymarkup-0.4.3-2.el7
Also upstream has removed that pytest version requirement on build time: https://github.com/bkabrda/anymarkup/commit/710f5cea35c222e42c032abb837b4f9aad3b0e3b So that version requirement was completely wrong with 0.4.3.
