Comment 1 Erwan GEORGET 2015-08-18 17:22:58 UTC
I've done some more test with gnupg.

Test environment :

- Fedora 22 (updated, update-testing activated)
- Seahorse 3.16.0-1
- seahorse-nautilus 3.11.92-3

Data used :
- Some gnupg 2.x keys
- Some gnupg 1.4.x keys

Test 0 : initial situation

-> Seahorse only show gnupg 1.4.x keys
-> Seahorse say he is using GNUPG (/usr/bin/gpg) 1.4.19
-> If I try to create a new key, seahorse create it, but it's very long (1-2 minutes)

Test 1 : removing gnupg 1.4.x (sudo dnf remove -y gnupg)

-> Seahorse now only show gnupg 2.x keys
-> Seahorse still say he is using GNUPG (/usr/bin/gpg) 1.4.19
-> If I try to create a new key, I get an error and cannot create it.

Test 2 : Rebooting the computer

-> Seahorse only show gnupg 2.x keys
-> Seahorse still say he is using GNUPG (/usr/bin/gpg) 1.4.19
-> If I try to create a new key, I get an error and cannot create it.

Test 3 : re-installing gnupg 1.4 (sudo dnf install -y gnupg)

-> Seahorse only show gnupg 2.x keys
-> Seahorse still say he is using GNUPG (/usr/bin/gpg) 1.4.19
-> If I try to create a new key, I get an error and cannot create it.

Test 4 : Rebooting the computer (again)

-> Seahorse only show gnupg 2.x keys
-> Seahorse still say he is using GNUPG (/usr/bin/gpg) 1.4.19
-> If I try to create a new key, I get an error and cannot create it.

Test 4 : Rebuilding gnupg keydb (gpg --rebuild-keydb-caches)

-> Seahorse now only show gnupg 1.4.x keys, gpg 2.x keys are hidden
-> Seahorse still say he is using GNUPG (/usr/bin/gpg) 1.4.19
-> If I try to create a new key, I get an error and cannot create it.
