Additional info:
A recent case where a customer hit this caused leveldb grow to ~40GB.

The fixes for this landed in Ceph upstream v0.80.8. This is the version that shipped in RHCS 1.2.3.

Is it ok if we close this as CURRENTRELEASE, or is there more to do here?
