Description of problem:
The card is detected in the hardware browser, but the sound test won't
work. I used sndconfig trying to fix it. It also detected the card,
but manual test won't work as well.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
ES1988 Allegro-1, by ESS Technology, driver is maestro3

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.run sndconfig
2.do auto check 
3.do manual check
    

Actual Results:  no test midi heard

Expected Results:  test midi should be heard

Thanks for the bug report. However, Red Hat no longer maintains this version of
the product. Please upgrade to the latest version and open a new bug if the problem
persists.

The Fedora Legacy project (http://fedoralegacy.org/) maintains some older releases, 
and if you believe this bug is interesting to them, please report the problem in
the bug tracker at: http://bugzilla.fedora.us/
