Description of problem: I went to go open a file. Blender then crashed with no warning. This is the second time it has happened when I open a file. It did it earlier today as well. Another user experienced a similar problem: I went to go open a file in Blender when it crashed with no warning. Fedora 22 changed to end-of-life (EOL) status on 2016-07-19. Fedora 22 is no longer maintained, which means that it will not receive any further security or bug fix updates.
