Description RamaKasturi 2015-09-24 08:51:21 UTC
Description of problem:
Ports required by vdsm and nrpe services are opened up directly by using firewall-cmd command. It would be good when there is a specific firewall service file available which contains information about all the required ports that should be opened.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
NA

Actual results:
Ports required for vdsm and nrpe services are opened up by directly adding them to the active zone

Expected results:
There should be a firewalld service file available for vdsm and nrpe services

Additional info:
Port should be opened are as follows :

54321 - For vdsm
5666 - For nrpe

The following port is required only when https connection is used to reach proxy and need not required to be open all the time
443 - for HTTPS request

Comment 3 Sahina Bose 2016-02-24 06:42:33 UTC
Ports required for vdsm and nrpe are opened by RHGS-C when the nodes are added to the console (currently using iptables). In my opinion this is low priority and hence closing for now.

In any case, please open bugs in upstream component for firewalld service files.
