Description of problem:
Wifi symbol in the system status bar turns into a white square

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
I don't know what component of gnome the system status icons actually are

How reproducible:
no idea what triggered it.

Fedora 22 changed to end-of-life (EOL) status on 2016-07-19. Fedora 22 is
